Title: OCA Presanctified Liturgy
Post by: TomS on April 09, 2003, 10:07:38 PM
Just attended the Presantified Liturgy at St. NICHOLAS Cathedral in Washington D.C.since my GOA church (which is the GOA CATHEDRAL in the area has only had ONE Presantified liturgy since Lent started!)

Even though it was the same liturgy as that done at the church I attend, I really liked the reverence of the service.

I really don't want to sound like a prude, but I thought the young women with their scarfs and longer skirts was nice. Some Sundays, I can't believe the short skirts and all dolled up look of the Greek girls. Just doesn't seem right.

Also, I kinda liked the prostration, made the Eucharist seem so much more holy.

Might have to check this place out again.
