Do the Oriental Orthodox celebrate this day? If so on what date and any particular traditions?

It's interesting to see Syriac used for a documentary.  Not quite as dead as is often thought.

I'm so glad to hear this! I just checked my Ethiopian synaxarium and he's commemorated on the same day. I wasn't sure because his icon isn't common in Ethiopia, certainly not the way it is in the rest of the world :-).
