Title: Abouna Youstos of St. Anthony's Monastery
Post by: Andrew21091 on June 16, 2009, 02:56:02 PM
I recently watched the film of contemporary Coptic Saint, St. Youstos the silent monk. I was amazing by the film but I was wondering if their is any books in print in English about his life or maybe something online.

I also am wondering why Abouna Youstos was always asking people what time it was? I didn't understand this. If someone know this, please enlighten me about what he was talking about.

In Christ,
Andrew

I would also like to know if there is more (anything) about him in English, as I have started watching the film.

I think that when he asks what time it is he is seeking to provoke a sense that it is now!, the day of salvation, and we must be about things which have eternal worth.
