Title: Posting/Removing Pictures
Post by: Rosehip on November 21, 2008, 11:07:57 AM
I'm trying to post a picture, but it isn't happening. A message appears when I click "send" saying "cannot access attachments upload path" or something of the sort.

Also: how do you remove a picture from a post?

Many thanks!

I did some changes on the server and the attachment folder's permissions got changed. Let me go fix that right now...

Thanks Fr! It works indeed! Now, is it possible to remove the picture? This is all a bit too permanent for my likes...

No, an attachment cannot be removed by users; I could conceivably delete it but that opens up a whole thing where people will be emailing me asking me to delete attachments...

If you want to use a pic without storing it on our server, you can put it elsewhere on the net (a photo storage place for instance) and link it.
