Which picture are you talking about? I'm pretty sure that TomΣ was talking about Schultz's avatar, not Ania's photo. If it's the first one, that's just a Russian thing[for some reason Russians like to drink large amounts of alcohol and dance melancholicly] I don't think it's a Russian thing, because who doesn't like to do those things? There are only three pictures that I know of that exist of me on the web, and here is probably the clearest: I'm the one receiving antidoron from the priest with the bright gold phelonion: Also, there's this one; I'm way in the back in front of the door in the wall. But the old lady receiving the award is Anastasia Somethingorother, who was a secretary for St. John Maximovich for several years.

All Hail the Corsican ,, err,, I mean the Baltimorian I have it on the authority of a native Marylander (or "Mer'laner" as they pronouce it here) that it is "Bawl'mer" and "Bawlimoron". I fear that as an immigrant to the Land of Crabs and Orioles that I shall never learn to speak "Bawlmorese" but somehow my youngest is. He says "woo-der" for "water". I don't know where he gets it...unless it's in the woo-der. Ebor

If not, I think we'd settle for a recipe for the home brewed mead. Dear Schultz,

I know exactly who both of you are! We're from the same Church, at least I've seen you and your wife there plenty of times. She sings (or sang) in the choir at Holy Resurrection, I think (I can't remember if you did, though). Anyway, we had to move for the Army, but maybe we'll run into you around Christmas.

Gregory: Now that I see your picture I am pretty sure you were still at the church standing outside near the bell tower when I got there for Vespers. I probably walked right past you in my haste to get inside to ask someone if they knew you! I just got there for Vespers (which we have in the Chapel) and saw that the Bridal party was still inside the main church taking pictures. Went inside and asked people if they knew anyone by the name of Gregory who came in from the state of Washington to the wedding. No one did. Well, maybe next time. Glad you liked our church. Orthodoc

Here is one of me "hard at work" at the customer service dest at my grocery store. Isn't taking pictures inside the store a security no-no? On a side note, those cigarette prices are killer! Kinda like buying them in Cook County. Paying that much for a pack of smokes would be reason enough to motivate me to quit if I was a smoker (that and of course all the negative effects it has on your health). In Christ, Aaron

They take pictures all the time and put them up as some sort moral booster.... it's wierd.
With tax GPCs are 4.15, Marlboros are 4.75, and Camels 5.50.... definetly not a cheap habit. It can actually be kind of depressing working up at the booth there... selling mainly lotto tickets, tobacco etc, but lately I have been working mostly on a regular register, so a little bit of everything.
