A little while ago I posted about a video on youtube: http://www.orthodoxchristianity.net/forum/index.php/topic,9840.msg684833.html#msg684833Today I clicked on the video, and I saw that there was something under it that said, "As seen on OrthodoxChristianity.net" I tried clicking on it and nothing happened. Does that happen to all videos we link to here? I haven't noticed it before.

Wait. I clicked on it again and I got a list of videos, most of which were not of a religious nature. Are those all videos that have been posted here? How does youtube know about us and about what videos have been posted here? Is the "As seen on" label something that just happens automatically?

Youtube counts the amount of visits on any particular video from any domains. IMO it's a nice feature.

All it is is an algorithm that runs a google search for the video to see where it's been shared. It's not like it's mining for private data.

This video that I posted also says "As seen on OrthodoxChristianity.net": http://www.orthodoxchristianity.net/forum/index.php/topic,9840.msg686679.html#msg686679I just think it's creepy when they track you like that. I guess it's good advertising for OCnet, though.
