They are connected to ones first name, nationality, profession, place of living, faith, jurisdiction or the patron Saint but I cannot find the sense of the rest. Let's undercover the secret! Mine was born in my Chem 101 class, when I had to learn the actinide and lanthanide series of elements. I was intrigued by the name as well as the radioactive properties of ytterbium. The element is dangerous, unstable, and mostly useless. Sort of like Internet discussion.
