But I don't usually even finish the 20 ounces of the single bottle I buy... do I really need a second?  Huh   But no, I meant Pepsi, you will just have to allow me my tradition, received from my fathers lo these many years. Remember the ecumenical motto: on whatever you can unite, and keep the differences outta sight!

Oh, no! Please don't say such things! Innovation? Heavens to Betsy no! Pepsi divinely superceded that which had come before. Sort of like how the diocese form of church administration replaced what was before it, or how the New Testament Gospel replaced the Old Testament Law. That sort of thing.

I think we need to consider the evidence here. Has Pepsi ever deviated from the faith and then had to shamefacedly return to its "Classic" version? Absolutely not. Pepsi is the nectar of the Gods (or, more properly, Mt. Dew is, and Pepsi is like the master theologian). Do you not remember that Coke had to drug its early consumers so as to keep them loyal? Cult!

Sinless? Oh not at all! I am not speaking of impeccability here. I merely mean that Pepsi is divinely protected from error when launching a product line and intending to serve the whole consumer base with its product. And I believe history shows this to be case. Look, I am not saying that Pepsi is perfect, or that everyone thinks that it's the greatest. All I'm saying is that, as we go deeper in developing our palate, the virtues of Pepsi become more clear and more pronounced. But I still strongly believe that God works with us wherever we are.

and in any case, all these 'bought drinks' are left at the starting line when compared to (one of) my great-grandma's home-made ginger-beer; and us young'uns coud have it even though it had a 'kick.'

When you pick one of those 58 new "genders" on Facebook you get the option to pick your own pronoun, including the majestic plural. I want to be adressed as royalty but I don't want to have a weird gender. What a horrible dilemma.

Having a weird gender on FB is fun. I'm regularly addressed as "she" by Facebook.

Well, be consistent!

We wish to be addressed as royalty, but at the thought of a gender other than the one God has given us, we would not be amused.

I dislike the Orthodox Study Bible, but for those who are interested in having the Kindle version, it is a mere $3.99 on Amazon.com today.  Just thought I'd share such a good deal.

I have just applied Bengay  mentholated cream to my feet, they are that achy and painful. The rest of me is so sore that I am shivering.

Moving is for the young.  Embarrassed

But there is furniture in new apartment.

I have a single powdered donut that I would be happy to send to one of you to cheer you up. Let me know! USPS isn't as slow as some say, at least this time of year.

@D-D  try a nice warm bath with bath salts -- no soap, just a nice long soak - preferably with a glass of your preferred liquid anaesthetic in hand.

I wish Facebook would stop suggesting that I 'like' the 'I Love Being Black' page on there.

I wish Facebook would stop suggestin that I like various Muslim dating sites. police

Why not install adblocker?

Already did that on my laptop. Unfortunately Play-store doesn't contain Adblocker and installint it elsewhere didn't seem to work. So for now my Android tablet does show advertisements.

He really meant two donuts and a coke.  Pepsi sucks

Depart from me, you who drinketh Coke! I never knew you.

Even with my sweet tooth, I find Pepsi to be too much.  Not that I'm a big soda drinker anyway (I prefer water, coffee/tea, fruit juices), but when I do indulge, any number of other soft drinks trump Pepsi.  And if Pepsi's all that's available, I choose water.  Tongue

I have a question .  I currently have a 4s iphone, been with sprint and my contract is coming up. will probably switch from Sprint to Cricket as it's way cheaper and signal is as good at least within city limits. That in case I decide to stay with the iphone. But I've also been thinking about the Nokia Lumia 1020. I know they have a great camera. But otherwise, does anyone know if it's a reliable phone?

My mom has one and she really likes it (although she mostly likes it for the camera. She's a photographer). The only thing I'd say is that if you really like apps, you may be disappointed. Windows doesn't have the app selection that Apple and Android do.

I'm not a big soda drinker either (and if I am drinking soda I'd take root beer over anything), but I do love Pepsi. I used to be a Coke person but somehow over the years I've converted.
