Good morning OC.net denizens!

I think I've been able to fix the glitch where some users who had enough posts to deserve more than 1 star under their name had only one.  If there is anyone with 25+ posts who only has one star, please PM me.

Those who have "Site Supporter" as their designation will always have 5 green stars regardless of their post count.  Mods/Global Mods/Admins also only have 5 (of differing colors).

Father, are you sure about that? You appear to have 7 on my screen.

Yeah.  I ended up changing that during the last 10 minutes because it didn't make sense to me that Global Mods and Site Supporters would have both the same # and color of *, and that the admins had the same number.  There was another position (rarely used) that needed to be accounted for, so the system was tweaked.  7 red stars for Admin, 6 green for Global Mod, 5 blue for Mod and 5 green for Site Supporter.

I don't know if this is an appropriate question. But, what is the significance of the stars?

For most folks the stars denote "posting level" and increase with your number of posts on the forum.  A chart can be found here: http://www.orthodoxchristianity.net/forum/index.php/topic,14124.msg1005858.html#msg1005858

They represent our astral union with the cosmos.

The last time that we had only two Administrators for a long time (Anastasios for content, Robert for technical issues), the person "running the forum" was made a "Senior Global Moderator," with supervision over the GMs and mods.  We say we "abolished" the position, but haven't really (frozen in carbonite is more like it), just in case we need it again.
