Speaking of redheads and Morocco, the Queen of Morocco, Lalla Salma, is a red-head.

What kind of person stands there with a camera taking pictures when a girl has snow in her hair? Outrageous.

More discrimination against Justin's already endangered icons of beauty.

https://gma.yahoo.com/redhead-sent-home-school-disruptive-hair-163618637--abc-news-fashion-and-beauty.html

This poor girl isn't even a redhead, she merely hopes some of the magic will rub off on her by coloring her hair (improbable, but not impossible). And will the school allow the girl to try to make something of herself? Noooooo, the educational system is all about suppressing creativity and thwarting every attempt of people to better themselves. Shameful!

I'm afraid I didn't ask--or I should say, I couldn't. She was like an angel passing through the drab ruins of my lonely soul, and so shocked was I by her magnificence that I was rendered speechless and paralyzed for 3 days afterwards.

Syrians and Egyptians did intermingle.  I wouldn't be surprised if I have a little bit of Syrian in me.

As luck would have it, I was there this year. The Netherlands that is, not the festival.

I must say, there are a lot of Syrians I met, no matter what the religion is, who I thought looked Irish.

Gaelic and Norsemen - from the Crusader era perhaps?

As to being offended, perhaps he was admiring the young lady posted a few threads above his picture?

Beauty is not always defined in terms of "hotness."

Can we please try to have a tiny bit of dignity on this board, at least when we're talking about the Mother of God?  >:(

Given that the overarching topic of this thread has been physical attributes, it was a reasonable assumption and hence the reason I mentioned that it was a tad impious.

I think this girl is beautiful. Not redhead and only 12 yrs old at the time of the photo, but she has the most haunting look, like she has lived several lifetimes in her short life.

This is what she looks like today. Seems so changed...

I agree with Trisagion. When that cover appeared, I was struck by her absolutely haunting eyes. It's clear in the later photos what a hard life she has lived in the intervening years. Prayers that God give her peace in the remainder of her life.

Regarding redheads, I have to wholeheartedly endorse the opening phrase of the thread title - 'The Most Beautiful Women in the Universe', despite the challenges that come with being the Dad to three redheaded daughters, uncle to another, and cousin of varying degrees to a multitude of others!
